Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated Research Scientist to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be involved in generating routine screening data and conducting bespoke in vitro pharmacology studies. This position presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals enthusiastic about participating in drug discovery initiatives and offering initial assessments in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, SAR profiling, and comprehensive mechanism of action data.

Key Responsibilities

• For this role you will, generate routine screening data and conduct bespoke in vitro pharmacology studies.
• Routine profiling of in vitro cellular assays.
• Supporting drug discovery projects with early DMPK assessment, SAR profiling, and detailed mechanism of action data.
• Conducting lab-based experiments.

Requirements

• Possession of an MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience in the Life Science industry.
• Proficiency in cellular biology techniques and pharmacology studies.
• Experience with high-resolution MS for targeted or global proteomics analysis and several technology platforms such as imaging, flow cytometry, and LC-MS.
• Proficiency in English.
